Bolton Muslim Girls' School

School Counsellor

Hello,

My name is Stacey, and I am the School Counsellor here at BMGS.

I am an empathic, congruent and non-judgmental person who helps our learners through their worries and struggles that they may have.

Teachers and parents can refer learners to me if you feel that this could help in any way.

Examples of my work include self-confidence and self-esteem building, bereavement, anxiety.

I work with learners to ensure that we find lifelong strategies/therapeutic tools and setting achievable goals that can help with working towards a positive and enjoyable pathway through life.

I believe in treating everyone with respect and dignity and building up a good therapeutic relationship where they can feel at ease in talking about whatever is concerning them. I work at the learner’s own pace, empowering them to work through any struggles that they may have.

If you think your child could benefit from an appointment please contact the school and ask to speak to your child’s Head of Year.
